Write Image to SD Card

Host OS: Ubuntu 16.04 x86_64

Insert SD Card into host PC and check which block device.

$ lsblk
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
sdb      8:16   0    2T  0 disk
└─sdb1   8:17   0    2T  0 part /disk/workssd
sr0     11:0    1 1024M  0 rom
sdc      8:32   1 14.4G  0 disk
├─sdc2   8:34   1 14.4G  0 part
└─sdc1   8:33   1   50M  0 part
sda      8:0    0  512G  0 disk
├─sda2   8:2    0    2G  0 part
└─sda1   8:1    0  510G  0 part /
sr1     11:1    1 1024M  0 rom

In this example case, the SD card block device is sdc.

Then, enter the scripts sub-directory in this package.

$ ls
image  scripts
$ cd scripts

Run the write image script with SD card block device.

or

$ ./mksd_recovery-linux_boot-from-sd.sh /dev/sdc ubuntu18044

Note: Please refer to quick start for updating SPL.
